Join us for an exclusive screening and conversation with Barbara Attie, the award-winning director of the short documentary Abortion Helpline, This is Lisa. Take this opportunity to engage in an important and timely discussion of key and pressing issues facing American women: the unrelenting struggle to secure the basic right to exercise control over their own bodies, health and choice whether to have children.

This film takes us into the room where counsellors staffing an under-funded abortion helpline listen to women’s urgent appeals for financial help.

DA and DAUK members who have played leading roles advocating and working on these issues will lead the after-screening discussion. With Democrats in power, we can and will advance women’s healthcare rights.
