Some of Our Recent Books
Our Mission:
To read, study and discuss politics and
current events, and books about U.S. politics.
We meet every third week, and from 6:30 PM to 8:00, we discuss current events and politics, and from 8:00 to 9:00 we discuss our book. Discussion questions with suggested readings are provided for the first section of our meetings and an in depth Study Guide is provided for our book discussion.
Here is a schedule of upcoming meetings and the books we will discuss:

4/14 Disloyal! by Michael Cohen
5/12 Homeland Elegies, by Ayad Akhtar

We are now in our 6th year!
A Typical Political Book Club Meeting
Before each meeting participants will be emailed with thought-provoking questions and readings to focus and stimulate our discussions. A study guide will also be provided for enriching our book discussion.
The current events and political issues will be discussed for the first 90 minutes followed by a 1 hour discussion about our book.
Although we expect participants to have read the questions and suggested readings for the political discussion, as well as completing the book, YOU ARE STILL WELCOME to attend without completing the book or the readings.
