Monthly Action Night: For The People Act NOW

Calling ALL Democrats Abroad UK members!

Please join us on Tuesday, March 2nd at 6pm for our Monthly Action Night. This week, the US House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the For the People Act (HR1).

If enacted, it would be “the most significant voting rights and democracy reform in more than half a century,” according to the Brennan Center. Now is the time to pull out all the stops to make sure this bill becomes law.

Our monthly action: review a script and call our representatives, thanking them for their support of the bill OR urging them to support it.

We’ll share sample scripts, emails and messages to send to family and friends. We’ll also talk about the Senate version of this bill (S1), which includes provisions to make voting easier for overseas citizens.
