Political Book Club

Instead of Wednesday evenings, Book Club will begin meeting on Tuesdays. We will continue our regular schedule starting at 6:30PM, with the first half of the meeting a discussion on current events and at 8:00PM we will discuss a book. Our next meeting will be Tuesday November 2 and we will for this meeting only not discuss a book but instead discuss a documentary series called “Philly DA”. It is an 8-episode series available on BBC iPlayer about a progressive DA elected in 2018 and the systemic obstacles and significant progress he makes in reforming the incarceration system, parole, probation, and other progressive issues.

On Tuesday December 7th we will discuss the often quoted Peril, by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.
