Black Caucus Meeting: Voting Rights Month

Recent events have provided a sad reminder that, whether voters are purged from the polls, to shenanigans at the polls, in courts or state houses, access to the ballot remains under attack. We delivered votes for the Democratic Party, now Republicans are working overtime to change the rules. In his maiden speech on the House floor, Sen. Raphael Warnock reminded that the right to vote is foundational and must be protected. So, let’s talk about what a return to Jim Crow 2.0 would mean for all Americans and what ACTIONS we can take to put an end to this latest assault on democracy.
