May Monthly Action Night: Gun Safety, Filibuster

The GOTV/VR Monthly Action Night will take place on the SECOND Tuesday of May, because of the bank holiday this weekend. Our action will focus on contacting our representatives to support gun safety legislation and the need for filibuster reform/elimination (without which gun safety and other popular laws go nowhere). These actions will be an important way to highlight our perspectives as residents of a country where gun violence is exceedingly rare, compared to the US. Scripts for calling and/or emailing our representatives will be provided before and during the meeting.
