Devon & Cornwall Taking Action 101

On 17 March at 5pm, DAUK’s Devon & Cornwall Regional group invites you to join us to hear Karen Suhaka’s power packed talk, TAKING ACTION 101. It’s all about how to use BillTrack50.com, to take action on the political issues YOU care about.

Karen will walk us through the basic steps a bill goes through to become a law, how bills are numbered, how to figure out who to call, how to know when states are in session so you know WHEN to call, and give us resources to find out who our representatives are.

She will also help us figure out what’s the best ACTION to take and HOW to do it effectively.
