Internationally renowned expert on women’s economic development and Emeritus DP World Professor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Oxford, Professor Linda Scott will discuss the findings in her recently-published book: “The Double X Economy: The Epic Potential of Empowering Women.” Her analysis of international gender data shows the reality of a distinctive pattern of economic inequality which, when combined with cultural impediments, forms the shadow economy unique to women, the “Double X Economy.”
